Are you taking a honeymoon? Where are you Going?

Yes! We are taking a "mini-moon" to Cape May right after their big day, and are taking a longer honeymoon to San Francisco, Sonoma, and Mendocino in August. We would love recommendations on restaruants or activities in any of those areas!

What should I do on Friday, June 6th?

That depends on how adventurous you are feeling! If you are just looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat, and maybe have a drink or two, the Embassy Suites is located really close to Hunt Valley Town Center, which has a number of restaurants and bars. Also, it has the best grocery store in the world, Wegmans!

 

If you are feeling more ambitious, head down to Baltimore City! If you like beer with your food, we recommend Heavy Seas Alehouse, Of Love and Regret, and The Brewer's Art.

 

Why croquet on Sunday?

​Because its fun! Also, because Sarah's parents have championship size court in their yard. This isn't your typical backyard game :) Dr. Ed will show you the ropes, so get excited to learn something new. 

 

I am training for a marathon/half-marathon/10k/5k, and need a place to run! Where should I go?

Well, maybe this isn't frequently asked of us, but Sarah frequently asks this when she goes away for the weekend! Lucky for you, there is a great rail trail not far from the Embassy Suites, so no excuses for skipping your run :) Take Shawan Road going east, towards York Road. Take a right onto York Road. At the first light, turn left onto Ashland Road. Follow the road for about 1 mile, and after crossing a pedestrian crosswalk you will see a large parking lot on your left.  When you enter the trail from here, you are at about the 0.5 mile point of a 20 mile long trail (you should run away from the road that you came in on). There are markers every whole mile, and you will come across sporadic water fountains (the first is at mi. 3.5ish). Runners on this trail are very friendly, so don't be shy about returning their waves hello!
